I have created this blog “Toronto Transit Blog” to express my comments and concerns and to further discussion regarding traffic and public transit issues and the latest planning proposals for the GTA – I am huge proponent of subways, especially for Scarborough, so please pardon my biases – I do support all forms of improvements to get this city moving again, including; improvements to the bus network, LRTs, subways, SmartTrack, Go Trains, and yes; even expressways – I believe that the most direct route is usually the best route, and that the number of different modes of transit and number of required transfers, should be minimized as much as possible

John Tory made promises and commitments during his election campaign, and I understand that he wants to deliver, but; it should not be done in haste - Let's take a breath, use our heads (because they have it all wrong right now), and do it right [we don’t need another white elephant (or black gas plant)] – See my blog page “Downtown Relief Line” for my latest thoughts, comments, and concerns, about the direction we seem to be taking

I try to include a little humour - I’m no comedian, so please forgive me if the jokes are bad

I have no allegiance to any group, or political party (federal, provincial, regional, or municipal), so I’m not worried about putting a few noses out of joint, or stepping on a few toes (anybody’s toes)
