Wow!!! - That was Fast!!

Wow!!! - That was fast!! - Published the post "Proposed LRT Extension for Sheppard Avenue - Not Such a Bargain!" at 6:10 PM Pacific time today and Google shut my e-mail down at 7:43 PM - Now I do realize it was probably for spamming our friends in Ottawa, Queen's Park, and Toronto City Hall; and hopefully not for the content of my Blog; but who knows? - So much for free speech! - Just lost my faith in Canada's proposed Bill-51 (The Anti-terrorism Act, 2015), and Quebec's proposed Bill 59 - They're not even law yet

To quote the CBC News:

"The bill would also give CSIS the ablity to disrupt suspected terror activity, including radical websites and Twitter accounts, as well as "counter-message."  The power applies inside and outside of Canada.

That means security officials could go online to challenge the online communications sent to those suspected of becoming radicalized.  It also includes interfering with travel plans and financial transactions of intercepting goods, according to background documents." - Too bad; I was sitting on the fence on those ones - I hope my post didn't terrorize them - I will let you know if they free up my e-mail account

Please don't abandon me - No more free-speech speeches - I do want this blog to stay focused and be an advocate for solutions to traffic and transit issues within the GTA - Will just have to slow and tone things down a bit - Please check back; I have lots of ideas, many of which have already been relayed to planning officials and the various levels of government over the past few years - Just won`t be bugging them by e-mail so much anymore

If you are wondering why planning and government officials might be upset with me read my post "Proposed LRT Extension for Sheppard Avenue - Not Such a Bargain!" - By the way; for the most part; I believe that our planners are doing a great job and know what should be done - It's politicians that have them skew their results and reports to suit their personal and party's political goals and meet campaign promises that they made without having a clue care as to what the best solutions really are
